Bereederungsgesellschaft H. Vogemann GmbH & Co. KG has launched  a  EUR 140m German-KG fund consisting of four modern panmax bulkcarriers in the German KG-market. HCI, acting as exclusive KG-house, accomplished the entire share equity placement within one hour after the sale of shares had opened.

The two 1995/96 Danish build 75.100 tdw sister vessels “Voge Prosperity” and “Voge Prestige” were bought this summer to join the 1996 Japan build 72.171 tdw sister vessels “Vogetrader” and “Vogevoyager” which came into Vogemann in 2001 but had been chartered out on period ever since.

Udo Wiese, MD of Vogemann, comments: “Just the fact that we could place the share equity this easily demonstrates how strong there is a demand in the German KG-market for well-managed bulk tonnage. In expectation of a strong economical growth in the Far East, identical charter-free vessels are currently not available for less than USD 65m each.”
